Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing a move for Manchester United target Andrea Belotti as a means to convince Marco Verratti to continue at the Parc des Princes.

The Italian midfielder has told the Parisians that he wants to leave the club this summer and is said to be pushing for a move to Barcelona, who are also keen to sign him.

Verratti remains a big player for PSG and after an underwhelming season in France and Europe, the club have made it clear that they are in no mood to lose a player of his quality.

However, PSG are aware that Verratti wants to leave and have been exploring options to convince the player to continue at the club, with showing ambition in the transfer market believed to be a key component of their plan.

And according to Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG are plotting to take Belotti to the Parc des Princes to convince Verratti about their plans for the future and convince him to continue at the club.
