Juventus have slapped in a bid for Chelsea linked winger Federico Bernardeschi, who is also a target for Inter.

The 22-year-old winger is uncertain to continue at Fiorentina next season as he is yet to sign a new and improved contract offer from the Serie A giants.

Fiorentina have made it clear that they have made their best offer possible but there are suggestions that their €2.5m per season proposal pales into comparison to what other clubs are willing to provide to Bernardeschi.

Chelsea have long being linked with a move for the Italian and there have been suggestions that they are prepared to double his wages and even Inter are said to be offering him a contract worth €4m per season.

The Nerazzurri have also been reportedly preparing a bid for the player but it seems Juventus have been out of the blocks quicker than Inter and are claimed to have slapped in a bid.

According to La Nazione, the Italian champions have placed a bid worth €40m on Fiorentina’s table and are also prepared to offer another €2m in bonus payments for Bernardeschi.

With the winger refusing to sign a new deal, many feel Fiorentina have little option but to sell him this summer and in turn get a good price for him.

Bernardeschi is currently with the Italy squad in Poland for the Under-21 European Championship and is expected to make a decision on his future soon.
