Thomas Christiansen’s first Championship fixture in charge of Leeds United will be an away game at Bolton Wanderers.

The Championship fixtures for the 2017/18 season have been announced by the English Football League and Leeds will be travelling to the Macron Stadium on the opening day.




Leeds’ first home game at Elland Road will be a week later when they host Preston North End, followed by another fixture in front of the home fans three days later against Fulham.

The Yorkshire giants will end the first month of the season with two away trips, to Sunderland and Nottingham Forest. Garry Monk returns to Elland Road, with Middlesbrough, on 18th November.
 


Leeds have a jam packed festive season schedule with an away trip to Burton Albion on Boxing Day, followed by another game on the road at Birmingham. They will be back at home on New Year’s Day when they host Nottingham Forest.
