Ligue 1 giants Lille have joined the race for in-demand Dijon striker Lois Diony, who is also attracting interest from Birmingham City, Brighton and Saint-Etienne.

Diony caught the eye in France's Ligue 1 last season as he chipped in with eleven goals and eight assists for Dijon, who finished above the drop zone by just a single point.

Now the 24-year-old could be plying his trade elsewhere next term, with clubs lining up to show interest in the striker.

From England, both Brighton and Birmingham are interested in Diony, while in France, Saint-Etienne are considering making a move.

Now, according to French radio station RMC, Lille have added themselves to the mix.

The club have just snapped up winger Nicolas Pepe from Angers, but could still look to add Diony to the ranks as coach Marcelo Bielsa eyes a successful campaign.

Dijon snapped up Diony in 2014 and during his time at the club the striker has made 116 appearances, scoring 33 goals.
