Chelsea have thrashed out a fee of €40m with Monaco for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Bakayoko was in impressive form for the principality outfit last season, helping Monaco win the Ligue 1 title and shine in the Champions League under coach Leonardo Jardim.

He has attracted significant interest this summer, but it is Chelsea who appear to have won the race for his signature.

According to French radio station RMC, Chelsea have now agreed a fee with Monaco for Bakayoko, with the Blues to pay €40m for his services.

Bakayoko has yet to agree personal terms with Chelsea, meaning the Blues must still thrash out an agreement with the player in order to take him to Stamford Bridge.
