Liverpool have officially confirmed the arrival of winger Mohamed Salah from Roma and the Egyptian is looking forward to working with Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

The Reds missed out on Salah's signature in 2014 when he opted to join Chelsea from Swiss giants Basel, but following a forgettable spell at Stamford Bridge he headed to Italy, first with Fiorentina and then with Roma.

Liverpool have paid around £35m to sign Salah, who will officially be registered by the club when the transfer window opens on 1st July.

He is determined to do well at Anfield and is keen to give his all under Klopp.

"I’m very excited to be here. I’m very happy", he told Liverpool's official site.

"I will give 100 per cent and give everything for the club. I really want to win something for this club.

"We have a great team and very good players. I was watching the games last year and everyone was giving 100 per cent to win something.

"Everyone can see the coach gives everything. I hope to see that together we can give everything to win something for the club, for the supporters and for us", he added.

Salah scored 29 goals for the Giallorossi in 65 appearances in Serie A as he shone in the Italian top flight.

Liverpool will hope that the 25-year-old can quickly settle at Anfield and better a squad that finished fourth in the Premier League last season.
