Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy doesn’t believe Arsenal’s regular injury problems are just down to bad luck.

Antonio Conte led Chelsea to a Premier League title in his first season in England and many feel a lot of it was down to the fact that he managed to field a consistent starting eleven throughout the campaign.

Chelsea’s lack of injury problems was in huge contrast to Arsenal, who struggled with issues throughout the season, and had players such as Danny Welbeck, Per Mertesacker and Santi Cazorla miss large parts of the season due to fitness issues.

And it is not a fresh problem with the Gunners as Arsene Wenger has been forced to struggle for options in his squad at crucial points of seasons over a number of years due to injuries to key players.

Cundy doesn’t believe that Arsenal’s poor record with injuries is all down to bad luck and feels the players and squad have been regularly mismanaged by Wenger.
