Eibar's move for SD Huesca forward Samu Saiz has been complicated by Leeds United's interest.

The 26-year-old forward is expected to leave the Spanish second tier outfit this summer and has attracted interest from clubs such as Real Betis, Alaves and Granada.

Eibar were believed to be the frontrunners to secure his signature, but it has been claimed that Leeds United's entry into the race has thrown where the forward will end up, up in the air.

According to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, the Yorkshire giants could put forward a better offer than Eibar and are firmly in the mix.

Saiz has a release clause worth €10m, but it has been claimed that Huesca would pocket around €3m from his sale.
