Liverpool have rejected a bid from Serie A outfit Napoli for left-back Alberto Moreno, according to Sky Sports News HQ

Moreno lost his spot in the side at Anfield last term as Jurgen Klopp opted to play midfielder James Milner in the left-back slot.

Liverpool have been tipped to sell the former Sevilla man in the approaching transfer window, but the Reds have sent out a statement of intent over their asking price by turning down an £11m offer from Napoli.

Moreno is also attracting interest from his former club Sevilla, while two unnamed Premier League clubs are also keen.

Liverpool snapped Moreno up from Sevilla in the summer of 2014, but he has failed to make his mark on Merseyside.
