Liverpool have suffered a transfer blow with the news that winger Julian Brandt has agreed to join Bayern Munich next summer.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a firm fan of the Bayer Leverkusen winger, who has also been attracting interest from German champions Bayern Munich.

But last month Brandt made clear he was unwilling to quit the BayArena outfit this summer as he feels he needs guaranteed playing time next season to kick on with his development.

However, Brandt is all set to move next summer, it has been claimed.

The highly rated young winger has agreed to make the move to Bayern Munich in 12 months' time, according to Munich-based daily TZ.

The news will be a blow for Liverpool boss Klopp, who has been regularly linked with wanting to take his countryman to the Premier League.

Brandt will be playing Champions League football next season after Bayer Leverkusen finished third in the Bundesliga last term.

However, the winger's side collected only 60 points from 34 games, a whopping 28 fewer than champions Bayern Munich.
