Juventus have entered the chase for Manchester United and Manchester City linked youngster Pietro Pellegri and are currently in a meeting with his agent.

The Italy Under-17 international’s future has recently come under the scanner after a horde of European clubs showed an interest in snaring him away from Genoa.




Manchester United and Manchester City are said to have been keeping tabs on him for months and even AC Milan have been in talks with his agent to discuss his future.

Inter have reportedly tabled a €12m bid for the striker and are prepared to loan him out to Genoa for more two more seasons to further aid the youngster’s development.
 


The Nerazzurri are said to be in pole position to secure Pellegri’s signature, but they are set to face competition from Juventus, who have set their eyes on the 16-year-old striker.

According to Sky Italia, his agent is currently locked in talks with Juventus in a meeting between the two parties as the Italian champions seek to understand the modalities of the negotiations.

Juventus are always on the lookout for the best young Italian talents and it seems Pellegri is firmly on their radar as they prepare to flex their muscle in the transfer market.

Pellegri scored his first senior goal for Genoa when he netted in their 3-2 defeat to Roma on the last day of the season.

He has a contract until 2019 with Genoa.
