A further club have joined the chase for Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri, with Serie A outfit Napoli now keen. 

Seri is expected to be sold by Nice this summer, although officially the French club are demanding his release clause of €40m is paid to take him away from the Allianz Riviera.




Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Seri, while Roma are keen to take the midfielder to the Italian capital.

Now, according to French outlet Foot Mercato, Napoli are showing keen interest in the Nice star.
 


The Serie A club believe Seri could be a perfect fit for their midfield and are mulling over what to do to take him to the San Paolo.

Seri made a total of 39 appearances in all competitions for Nice last season, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists as his side finished third in the Ligue 1 table.

He is under contract with Nice until 2019 and the club remain keen not to lose him for less than his €40m release clause.
