Marseille have not responded to the offer to sign Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado, who has also been linked with a move to Arsenal.

Cuadrado’s future has come under the scanner in recent days after it emerged that Juventus are prepared to sell him this summer to make space in their squad for fresh signings.

While the Colombian’s agent has rubbished the rumours and insisted that neither the club nor the player are interested in parting ways, emissaries have been working behind the scenes to find him a new club.

And it has been claimed that Marseille were offered the chance to sign the player, but according to French daily La Provence, club sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has not responded.

It has been claimed that Marseille are not interested in player of Cuadrado’s type this summer and they are also not keen to spend big money on an area of a squad they don’t feel needs strengthening.
