Angers have pressed the accelerator on talks to sign Norwich City and Middlesbrough target Enzo Crivelli and hope to complete his capture next week.

Crivelli has been targeted by the Ligue 1 club as a replacement for striker Famara Diedhiou, who has been attracting interest from several clubs, including Crystal Palace and Udinese.

The 22-year-old has been targeted by Norwich and Middlesbrough, but the Championship pair look set to be disappointed in their pursuit of the Bordeaux striker.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Angers have pressed the accelerator on talks with Bordeaux for Crivelli and are hoping to make the transfer official next week.

Crivelli spent the season on loan at Bastia and made 24 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring an impressive ten goals.

The striker scored against Lyon, while he also netted against Nice, who finished third in the standings, but his efforts could not help Bastia avoid relegation to Ligue 2 as they ended rock bottom in Ligue 1.

Bordeaux appear willing to part with Crivelli, who is now set to join up with an Angers team that finished in 12th place.
