Paris Saint-Germain are interested in making a move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero should they fail to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer.

Mbappe remains PSG’s top attacking target and the club are prepared to splash €140m to €150m to get world football’s hottest young talent from Monaco this summer.

However, they are aware of the difficulties of signing him as Monaco won’t be keen to sell their star man to direct rivals and the player is interested in a transfer to Real Madrid.

And PSG have contingency plans in place and according to French daily Le Parisien, the club will move for Manchester City’s Aguero should they fail to sign Mbappe.

PSG sporting director Antero Henrique is close to Aguero’s agent Hernan Reguera and the striker could be up for move this summer as he is no longer a definite starter under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
