Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has revealed that he has gathered all the information needed about their Europa League opponents Progres Niederkorn and will make it available to the players as they continue their preparations for the tie.

The Gers are scheduled to face the side from Luxembourg in the first qualifying round of the Europa League with the first leg of the tie scheduled to be played this Thursday, followed by the second leg away from home on 4th July.

The manager has time and again stressed the importance of the Europa League campaign, this time insisting that the focus is now mainly on his team and his players, though he has gathered information on their opponents and will make it available in time to let the players know what he wants from the match.

“Our preparations are mainly based on our own team.

"We are about to finish our pre-season and I always see the last week of pre-season as a transition phase in order for you to make all the rehearsals and see if everything is OK", the manager told his club's official website.

“Of course, we know the opponent we are facing. The data has arrived from Luxembourg, and the players will know all the information, and we will have time to speak to them regarding to what we want from the match.

“We are here at Ibrox to have a training session, one which needs to be more ‘game-like’ – and I want that to be in the same scenario we are going to play the match."

As far as his plans for the new arrivals are concerned, the manager said that he will let them have a look at the pitch at Ibrox before they play their first competitive match there in the presence of the home fans.

“We are going to have a lot of new players, and I want the players to see the pitch etc. before they get there.

"It is going to be a full house, and I want them to enjoy playing in that."
