Paris Saint-Germain have not given up in the battle for Monaco midfielder Fabinho, a player who Manchester United have identified as a priority signing this summer.

Manchester United have been in talks with Monaco in a bid to reach an agreement over Fabinho, but have yet to manage to thrash out a deal, opening the door for other clubs.

According to French radio station RMC, PSG sporting director Antero Henrique has been in touch with Fabinho's representatives and a meeting has been arranged.

PSG will bid to use the meeting to put themselves in pole position to sign Fabinho, who impressed with Monaco last term.

It is unclear though whether Monaco will be willing to sell to direct Ligue 1 rivals, especially if Manchester United are a concrete option for Fabinho.
