Celtic target Jean-Kevin Duverne is yet to make a decision on his future and is also considering an offer from Lille.

The 19-year-old Lens defender’s future has come under the scanner in recent weeks as he looks to leave the Ligue 2 club during the summer transfer window.

He is expected to depart from Lens this summer and Brendan Rodgers wants him to take him to Scotland, with Celtic placing a €5.5m offer on the French outfit’s table for the centre-back.

Celtic have been confident of signing the player, but they are facing stiff competition from Ligue 1 outfit Lille, who are also on the young defender’s trail this summer.

Marcelo Bielsa wants to sign the 19-year-old centre-back and according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the young defender is considering his options before making a choice.

It has been claimed that Duverne is tempted by the opportunity of working under Bielsa at Lille and a decision is expected to be made by the end of the week.

A product of the Lens academy, the young Frenchman caught the eye of observers last season in the second tier of French football and has a contract until 2019 with the club.
