Rangers new boy Eduardo Herrera has revealed his excitement after training at Ibrox for the first time since joining the club.

The Scottish giants snapped up the Mexican international striker from Pumas and the experienced hitman will be expected to add more teeth to Pedro Caixinha’s squad next season.




With Rangers set to embark on their Europa League campaign this week, the squad are in full pre-season mode and the striker has just enjoyed his first training session with the team.

And the Mexican revealed his delight after training at Ibrox for the first time on Tuesday as he looks to get into the groove of things ahead of the start of the new campaign.
 


Herrera posted a photo on Twitter and wrote: “First training at Ibrox Stadium.”

The hitman has nine caps beside his name for Mexico and has also netted three international goals for his country.

Rangers will start their new season earlier than most teams when they host Luxembourg outfit Progres Niederkorn the first leg of their Europa League first round qualifier at Ibrox on Thursday night.
