Everton new boy Henry Onyekuru will spend the next two years on loan at Belgian giants Anderlecht.

The Toffees have seen off competition from Arsenal and West Ham for the Nigerian forward, who is making the move from Belgian minnows Eupen.

However, Everton will send Onyekuru straight back to Belgium on loan, with the agreement with Anderlecht being for two years, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

Onyekuru will be expected to continue his development in familiar surroundings, while also experiencing the pressure of playing for the biggest club in Belgian football.

Celtic wanted to sign Onyekuru in the January transfer window and slapped in a bid of €1m for the 20-year-old, but it was rejected.

Onyekuru even went AWOL in an attempt to force his way out of Eupen, but the club stood strong and he returned to the fold after the window closed.

Last season the Nigerian was in fine form, scoring 24 goals in all competitions.

He even managed a run of ten goals in Eupen's final ten games of the season.
