Manchester United linked defender Serge Aurier has told Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he wants to leave the club this summer.

The 24-year-old full-back has been keen on leaving the Parisians for months and has so far refused to sign the new contract on offer from PSG.




PSG president Khelaifi is believed to be close to the player and he has been trying to convince the Ivoirian to continue at the club and sign the fresh terms with the Parisians.

However, it seems Aurier has made his decision and according to French broadcaster Canal+, he has told the PSG president that he wants to leave the club in the summer.
 


The defender and his representatives will also soon meet PSG sporting director Antero Henrique and Aurier will reiterate his desire to the club deal maker that he is keen to depart from the Parc des Princes.

Khelaifi has so far refused to sell the defender this summer but with the player insistent on leaving PSG, it remains to be seen what the club supremo does in the coming days and weeks.

Manchester United are believed to be interested in snapping up Aurier and there is even talk that Juventus could also be in the mix for him after Dani Alves left the club this summer.
