Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has expressed his delight at the work done by the club to bring fresh faces into the squad this summer.

Ahead of their Europa League first round qualifier against Progres Niederkorn on Thursday night, the Rangers manager is pleased with the work the club have done this summer.

Rangers have added eight new faces to a squad that underperformed in the league last season and finished a whopping 39 points behind champions Celtic in the final standings.

Caixinha, who has added a mix of Portuguese, Mexican and Scottish talent to his squad this summer, praised the work done by the hierarchy to strengthen his hand ahead of the new season.

The Rangers boss feels he has the right tools to work with next season and believes the squad are now closer to the standards the club should aspire to reach.
