Arsenal full-back Nacho Monreal believes that his club's trip to China will be an important one for his team and insists the Gunners will look to put on a show for their fans.

The Gunners are set to visit China in July in order to play German giants Bayern Munich and Premier League rivals Chelsea in two friendlies, as they prepare to kick off their new season.

It will be the London-based side's third visit to China, though Monreal, who joined the Gunners in 2013, has not experienced the country yet.

The 31-year-old insists that he is dying to be part of the tour and will take the matches with utmost seriousness though the time for preparation is short.

With the players returning to training just ten days ahead of the tour, Monreal insists that they will not be at 100 per cent, but will do their best to win each of the matches.

“I expect to enjoy China”, Monreal told Arsenal Player.

“I would like to have some free time to see the city, enjoy China in general and obviously train well, get fit and have good activities with our fans.

“It’s going to be very important for us, the friendly games, but we will play and we will give our best.

“It’s a bit complicated in this moment of the season because we start to train just 10 days before the game so we probably won’t be 100 per cent fit.

“Obviously we want to win every single game and give a good show to the fans.”
