Juventus have identified Arsenal target Thomas Lemar as a an alternative to Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa this summer.

The Italian champions have been in talks with Bayern Munich for the Brazilian winger and are keen to take the former Shakhtar Donetsk man to Turin in the upcoming transfer window.




However, negotiations between the two clubs have been tough and they are struggling to reach an agreement over a fee, with Juventus trying to put in place contingency plans.

And according to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri will make a move for Monaco’s Lemar if they fail to negotiate a fee with Bayern Munich for the signature of Costa.
 


While the Brazilian remains on their agenda, the club are prepared to swiftly shift focus towards the Frenchman, which would put them in competition with a number oif clubs, including Arsenal.

Lemar is also a top target for Arsenal and Monaco have already rejected an offer from the Gunners as they are keen to hold on to the Frenchman this summer.

There are suggestions that Arsenal could end their pursuit of Lemar if they succeed in convincing Alexis Sanchez to continue at the Emirates Stadium next season.

Juventus have already enquired about Lemar and could make a concrete move should their Costa pursuit fail.
