Juventus are expected to try their luck again with Manchester United for the signature of Matteo Darmian later this summer.

The Italy full-back has developed into a key player in the Jose Mourinho regime after struggling to play regularly under the Portuguese in the early months of his reign last season.

Mourinho has made it clear that he won’t sell Darmian unless the player wants to move away from Manchester United and the Italy international has said little to suggest that he wants to leave.

Juventus have been in contact with Manchester United for the signature of the Italian, but the Red Devils have rebuffed their approach and don’t want to sell Darmian this summer.

The Italian champions are actively in pursuit of Real Madrid full-back Danilo, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are expected to return for Darmian again later in the summer.
