Leeds United target Caleb Ekuban is not part of Chievo Verona's plans for next season and appears to be heading for the exit door.

The 23-year-old striker spent last season on loan in Albania with Partizani Tirana and enjoyed a hugely successful campaign, scoring 18 goals in all competitions for the club.

Partizani have been desperate to re-sign Ekuban, but have been unable to reach an agreement with Chievo.

Ekuban has also been linked with other clubs as Cypriot giants APOEL and English outfit Leeds are also keen.

Chievo have been unsure what to do with the Ghanaian next season, but according to Italian outlet TGGialloblu, the Serie A club are not including Ekuban in their plans for next term.

It is claimed that the club have other plans for Ekuban, but it is not yet clear whether those plans involve a fresh loan or an outright sale.

Ekuban played in the Champions League qualifiers with Partizani last season, before then also sampling the Europa League qualifiers.
