Inter Milan have been linked with having an interest in Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, who is wanted by Lyon and Marseille.

The French defender missed a year of football due to a serious knee injury recently and only returned to first team action in the second half of last season.

With the World Cup next year, many feel Zouma should look for a loan move away from Chelsea to play regular football and Marseille and Lyon are interested in signing him.

However, Zouma has been insistent on continuing at Chelsea as he looks to prove himself against next season under Antonio Conte with the club set to play more games after qualifying for the Champions League.

Despite the defender’s insistence, his future remains a topic of speculation and according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the defender is on Inter Milan’s radar during the summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri are keen to add more defensive options to their squad and while they have been in contact with Chelsea for Andreas Christensen, Zouma is also on their shortlist of targets.

The Frenchman has been clear about staying at Chelsea and while Inter are yet to make any concrete overtures, he is unlikely to entertain any thoughts of moving to Italy this summer.

He has a contract until 2019 with Chelsea.
