Andrew Robertson has flown back from Hull City's pre-season tour as Liverpool hold talks with the Tigers over snapping him up, according to Sky Sports News HQ.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has focused in on the left-back and wants to take him to Anfield this summer.

In a sign the talks between the two clubs are on track, with claims a £10m fee has been agreed, Robertson has now jetted back from Hull's tour of Portugal.

Klopp played midfielder James Milner at left-back last season after losing faith in Spaniard Alberto Moreno, whom the Reds are willing to sell this summer.

Now Liverpool are closing in on adding a specialist left-back to the ranks at Anfield, with transfer work continuing despite the club having flown to Hong Kong for the Premier League Asia Trophy tournament.
