AS Monaco have not moved an inch from their stance of not selling Arsenal and Liverpool target Kylian Mbappe this summer and the player is also willing to continue at the club next season.

The 18-year-old striker is the most coveted young talent in the market this time around, with some of the biggest clubs in the world hanging on to his coattails this summer.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are interested in taking him to England and Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have identified him as their top target for the window.

However, Mbappe has done little to suggest that he wants to leave Monaco this summer and according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the interest in the striker has done little to change the Ligue 1 champions’ stance of not selling him.

Monaco are becoming increasingly confident of holding on to the player and are not expecting his potential departure from the club before the end of next season.

The player and his entourage are also leaning towards staying at Monaco, where they feel he will be able to continue to play regular football and progress as a striker.

Monaco are currently working on offering him a new contract, which would make him one of the highest paid players at the club.
