Barcelona are expected to send a fresh set of officials in the coming days to England to conduct negotiations with Liverpool for Philippe Coutinho.

The Catalan giants have pressed the accelerator in the chase to sign the 25-year-old Brazil midfielder this summer and are looking to get a deal over the line soon.

Barcelona have reportedly agreed the terms of a contract with Coutinho and the player is keen to become Lionel Messi’s team-mate next season, but a deal with Liverpool remains elusive

The Spaniards already have a representative present in England for negotiations with Liverpool and according to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, the club are expected to send more officials to England in the coming days to conduct talks with Liverpool.

The Reds have been clear about not wanting to sell their talismanic midfielder and Jurgen Klopp has insisted that the player is not for sale this summer.
