Chelsea and AC Milan target Renato Sanches is set to meet Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti to seek clarification over his future at the club.

The German champions are willing to listen to offers for the player this summer as they are aware that they won’t be able to guarantee him regular football – but they are only interested in loaning him out.

Chelsea and Manchester United have been interested in the 19-year-old midfielder, but AC Milan are the ones who have clocked the miles to secure his signature this summer.

And Bayern Munich recently rejected a loan plus an option of a permanent deal offer from AC Milan from Sanches in recent days, which has led to frustration in the Rossoneri camp.

Sanches is keen to know the plans Ancelotti has for him next season and according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport he will meet the Bayern Munich coach on Tuesday to seek clarification.

His agent, Jorge Mendes, is also expected to accompany him and the midfielder is expecting straight answers from the Bayern Munich boss on whether he is going to play more football next season.

AC Milan and his other suitors are waiting for the outcome of the meeting between the player and the coach before deciding their next course of action this summer.

Bayern Munich beat off competition from Manchester United to sign the young midfielder last summer but he played very little football under Ancelotti last season.
