Fiorentina have tabled a fresh and improved bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Emre Mor, who has also been linked with being a Liverpool target.

Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for the 20-year-old winger and there has also been talk of the Reds trying to sign him this summer.

However, Fiorentina are now leading the chase for the player and even after Dortmund rejected an initial bid from the Serie A outfit last month, they have not given up on the chase.

And according to Italian daily La Nazione, they have slapped in a fresh and improved offer for Mor and are hoping to hold further talks with Dortmund over a summer transfer.

It has been claimed that Dortmund have received a bid of around €12m for the player from Fiorentina and the Italians are quietly confident of getting a deal over the line.

Despite interest from Liverpool, Fiorentina are looking to exploit their cordial relationship with Dortmund and agree a deal to take Mor to Italy this summer.

The Turkey international joined Dortmund from FC Nordsjaelland last summer, but only made a handful number of appearances for the Bundesliga giants last season.

Mor has a contract until 2021 with the BVB.
