Ivan Perisic’s agent is set to sit down with Inter Milan for talks over a new contract with his client's chances of joining Manchester United dwindling with each passing day.

The Croatian has agreed a contract with Manchester United in anticipation of a summer move but Inter have stuck to their financial demands for the player.

The Nerazzurri have knocked back several offers from the Red Devils and their demand to receive Anthony Martial on loan as part of a deal finally forced Manchester United to look for other options.

While a deal could still happen if Manchester United agree to Inter’s demands, the chances of Perisic playing for the Premier League giants next season are minimal at the moment.

And according to Italian daily Tuttosport, his agent will soon sit down for talks with Inter as he looks to sort out a new and improved contract for his client with the Nerazzurri.
