Liverpool linked striker Kasper Dolberg has emerged as a target for Ligue 1 champions Monaco this summer.

The 19-year-old striker played a pivotal role in Ajax’s run to the Europa League final last season and earned high praise for his goals and performances.




Ajax have been certain about not selling him this summer but it has not deterred his suitors and he has been widely linked with a move to big clubs, such as Liverpool.

And according to France Football, Ligue 1 champions Monaco have joined the long queue of suitors for Dolberg and are considering taking him to the Principality this summer.
 


Monaco’s impressive title-winning squad have been ravaged in the transfer window with some of the top clubs snaring away key players away from them.

And there is increasing speculation that Kylian Mbappe could be on his way out, with Real Madrid prepared to offer a world record fee of around €180m for his services.

Monaco remain keen on holding on to the 18-year-old striker, but have identified Ajax’s Dolberg as a potential replacement should the Frenchman jump ship this summer.
