Inter Milan have continued to keep tabs on Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen and are still interested in signing him this summer.

The Dane returned to Chelsea this summer after a two-year loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach and is expected to be part of Antonio Conte’s plans for next season.

With John Terry leaving the club and Kurt Zouma joining Stoke City on loan, Conte is unlikely to allow Christensen to leave, but it has not deterred his admirers from showing an interest in him.

Inter have been keeping tabs on the 21-year-old defender since the start of the window and according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the club have continued to keep him on their radar.

Nerazzurri coach Luciano Spalletti is a big fan of the player and is pushing the club to explore the possibility of snaring Christensen away from the Premier League champions this summer.

Conte is unlikely to welcome any interest in the defender as he is not prepared to lose any more players this summer before pushing through more key signings in the last month of the window.

Inter are plotting a loan move for the player with an option to make the move permanent for a fee of around €20m to €25m.

The Dane, who has earned 11 international caps for Denmark, has a contract until 2020 with Chelsea.
