Celtic are mulling over making a move for Feyenoord full-back Miquel Nelom, who is also on Stoke City's radar, according to SportTimes.

Brendan Rodgers' Scottish champions recently let left-back Emilio Izaguirre move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Fayha and are looking to bolster their full-back resources as a result.

26-year-old Dutchman Nelom is on Celtic's radar and the Bhoys are considering making a move for a player who may be available for around the £1m mark.

Nelom, who made his senior Netherlands debut in 2013, has just a year left on his contract at Dutch champions Feyenoord.

The defender came through the youth ranks at Feyenoord, learning his trade first at the club's sister side Excelsior before returning to De Kuip to link up with the first team at the Dutch giants.

However, if Celtic do move for Nelom then they may find they have competition for his signature.

Premier League side Stoke and La Liga outfit Espanyol have both been linked with the left-back and could well swoop.

And Watford are also claimed to be alive to his talents and potential availability.
