Liverpool have backed off a move for Chelsea target Renato Sanches, according to Sky Sports News HQ

Bayern Munich are ready to send Sanches out on loan for the season after concluding he will not receive enough playing time to boost his development if he stays at the Allianz Arena.

A number of clubs have been linked with the Portugal international, including Antonio Conte's Premier League champions Chelsea.

Of late Liverpool have been looking at a deal though, with the Reds sounding out Bayern Munich about the possibility of taking the former Benfica star to Anfield.

But the Reds have dropped their interest in Sanches and as such will not be pulling the trigger on an official approach.
