West Ham target William Carvalho has jumped to the top of Monaco’s wishlist if Fabinho joins Paris Saint-Germain before Thursday’s transfer deadline.

With Kylian Mbappe expected to join PSG soon, the Parisians are also working on a deal with Monaco to sign Brazilian midfielder Fabinho before the window slams shut on Thursday.




Fabinho is interested in a move to the Parc des Princes and Monaco have prepared a shortlist of targets they want to pursue if the Brazilian eventually joins PSG in the next two days.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Sporting Lisbon midfielder William is their top target to replace the wantaway Brazilian at the Stade Louis II.
 


Leonardo Jardim, who is a fan of the player, has already managed him when he was coach of Sporting Lisbon a few years ago and wants to reunite with his compatriot at Monaco.

But Monaco are confident that they will be able to strike a deal with the Portuguese giants for William if they lose Fabinho to PSG in the next two days.
