Celtic have confirmed that they have signed striker Odsonne Edouard from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 19-year-old striker joins the Scottish champions on a season-long loan deal, while Celtic have managed to insert an option to buy into the agreement in the event he impresses at Paradise.

Edouard came through the youth ranks at Paris Saint-Germain and spent last season on loan at Toulouse as he looked for regular game time.

Now the striker is starting his adventure at Celtic and insists he cannot wait to pull on the famous hoops, while he is also relishing the chance to fire the Bhoys to success.

"I am absolutely delighted to be joining Celtic, one of the world's truly great football clubs, and I can’t wait to wear the famous Celtic jersey", he told his new club's official site.
