Thomas Lemar wants to join Liverpool, despite Arsenal having a bid for his services accepted, it has been claimed.
Monaco have reportedly accepted an offer of around €100m from the Gunners, who are now hoping to have Lemar under lock and key this evening as they sell Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City.
But Arsenal could have mission impossible on their hands when it comes to convincing Lemar to move to the Emirates Stadium.
According to Ligue1.com journalist Matt Spiro, Lemar wants to move to Liverpool and not Arsenal.
Arsenal do not have Champions League football to offer this season and have just been thrashed 4-0 by Liverpool in the Premier League.

They are also facing the prospect of losing their talisman Sanchez, who wants to join Manchester City.
Mesut Ozil is also in the final year of his contract and there is continuing unrest amongst the fans, with many wanting boss Arsene Wenger to leave the club.
