Barcelona have ended their interest in signing Angel di Maria after Paris Saint-Germain rejected their third offer of the day.

The Camp Nou outfit started the day by offering €25m, and then upping that to €35m when it was knocked back by the Parisiens.

With the clock ticking, Barcelona came back with a bid of €40m and €5m in add-ons – but according to Catalan daily Sport, PSG have now rejected that proposal.

Barcelona have chosen not to improve their offer and are leaving the ball in PSG's court to change their mind before the transfer window closes in Spain tonight.

The Spanish giants will hold a press conference tomorrow at midday Spanish time, where they will explain their activities in the transfer market.
