Jose Mourinho has named his matchday squad that will take on Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium in a Premier League clash later this afternoon.
Club captain Michael Carrick has made the squad for the first time this season but he is still just an option on the bench for Mourinho. Matteo Darmian has made his way into the back four in place of Daley Blind and Ander Herrera will be making his first start of the campaign.
Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic will continue to be the key men in midfielder with Marcus Rashford and Henrikh Mkhitaryan providing width to the side. Romelu Lukaku will be the lone man up front and Mourinho also has the options of calling upon Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard from the bench.
Though his recent personal record at Stoke is not the greatest, Mourinho is looking to become the first Manchester United manager to win at the bet365 Stadium since Sir Alex Ferguson.
