Former Premier League and current Wigan Athletic striker Noel Hunt has revealed that if he had £130m plus to spend on a striker, he would look at no one but Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane.

After failing to score in Spurs’ first three Premier League games this season, Kane has managed to find the back of the three times in his side’s last two games in all competitions.

The England international netted a brace on Wednesday night to help Tottenham begin their Champions League campaign with an impressive 3-1 win over German giants Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

Strikers went for a premium this summer as the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea spent big to land Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata; Paris Saint-Germain also splashed the cash to sign Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

But Hunt explained that he would only signed Kane and no one else if he had big money to spend on a striker.
