Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier believes Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard is one of the top five players in the world when he is at full tilt.

Hazard rekindled his form under Antonio Conte last season and played a definitive role in Chelsea winning the league title after finishing tenth in the table in the previous campaign.

The Belgian missed the start of the season due to an ankle injury, but is on his way back into the scheme of things after he made a substitute appearance against Leicester City last weekend.

And Chelsea are expected to climb up the standings again once Hazard finds his rhythm again as Meunier believes his Belgium team-mate is one of the best in the world when in form.

The PSG full-back believes other than having the vision and the skill, Hazard has become more of a team player in recent years.

Meunier told Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws: "When Eden Hazard is at his best, he's top 5 in the world: [Lioneo] Messi, [Cristiano] Ronaldo, Neymar [and] Eden.

"Eden still has his skills and vision, but he thinks more about the team nowadays.

“He used to be ball greedy, a bit like Neymar."

The winger could return to the starting eleven when Chelsea take on Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
