Ilkay Gundogan has showered praise on Sergio Aguero following Manchester City’s thumping 6-0 win at Watford on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester City dominated Watford from the onset and they were rewarded for their football when Aguero scored two goals within four minutes around the half hour mark to set the Citizens on their way towards a big win over the Hornets at Vicarage Road.

Gabriel Jesus also scored in the 37th minute as City went into half time three goals to the good, but Pep Guardiola’s side came out even hungrier in the second half and defender Nicolas Otamendi got on the scoresheet from a quick David Silva corner after the hour mark.

Aguero completed his hat-trick in the 81st minute and Manchester City reached the half-a-dozen mark after they earned a penalty towards the end, which Raheem Sterling buried into the back of the net to complete a resounding win for the away side.

Gundogan believes the result and the performance was great, especially after a grueling week of travelling for Manchester City and feels it was a brilliant showing from his team-mates.

“The way we played was amazing.

“Sergio is a goal machine, his last goal was incredible.
