Thomas Christiansen is expecting defender Pontus Jansson to return to the squad for Leeds United’s league game against Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Jansson went off injured towards the end of Leeds’ 1-0 loss to Millwall at the weekend and the Swede was left out of the squad for their win on penalties against Burnley last night.

The Swede has been instrumental in Leeds’ good start to the season and there were fears that he could be out of action for a longer period of time, but it seems the defender is recovering well.

Christiansen admits that Jansson is on the road to recovery and is expecting the defender to return to the squad when Leeds host Ipswich at Elland Road on Saturday.

Other than Caleb Ekuban, he is expecting all of his players to be fit and ready to play.

“I will probably have all in for the game on Saturday.
