Leeds United star Luke Ayling has talked up the possibility of facing Manchester United at home at Elland Road in the next round of the EFL Cup.

The Yorkshire giants beat Burnley on penalties on Tuesday night to progress in the competition and there is an appetite in the club to take on one of the big teams of English football.

Thomas Christiansen has already said that he would prefer to play one of the Premier League big boys in the next round and Ayling seems to be going in the same direction.

The Leeds defender believes the quality of the their squad was on display as Christiansen provided an opportunity to some of the fringe players to stake their claim for a place in the team going forward.

And Ayling indicated that he wants to take on Premier League giants Manchester United at Elland Road in the next round.
