Former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair believes Manchester United have not yet presented a compelling Premier League title case, despite being second in the table only on goal difference.

Jose Mourinho's men moved on to 16 points from six games by beating Southampton on Saturday, keeping pace with league leaders Manchester City, while Chelsea are third on 13 points.

Sinclair believes it does look like the title race will be between the top three, but the former defender is not yet convinced by Manchester United.

The ex-Chelsea man thinks Manchester United have had a favourable fixture list, unlike Antonio Conte's men.

"For me it's a three horse race", Sinclair said on Chelsea TV.
