West Brom winger James McClean has termed Rangers the third best team in Glasgow ahead of today’s derby at Ibrox.

Rangers are looking to turn their poor recent record against Celtic around when they host the Scottish champions at Ibrox at noon today and Pedro Caixinha is confident that he has the players to do it.

However, Caixinha’s team still have their detractors and Rangers could be eight points behind Celtic if they go on to lose the game at home and invite more brickbats towards talk of apparent progress.

And McClean, who is praying for a Celtic win today in the derby, indicated that Rangers are not even the second best team in Glasgow and not anywhere close the Scottish champions’ level.

The West Brom winger took to Twitter this morning and wrote: “Please God if there’s one thing you can do for me today then can you ensure Celtic tank the 3rd best team in Glasgow.
