West Ham United skipper Mark Noble thinks that Tottenham Hotspur will have to stay strong to make sure they keep hold of Harry Kane.

Noble saw Kane at close quarters on Saturday as Spurs ran out 3-2 winners over the Hammers at the London Stadium and the England international striker struck twice for the visitors.

Kane has regularly been linked with moves to some of the biggest clubs in the game and Noble knows that sides will be looking on as the striker's exploits continue.

As such, the West Ham captain thinks that Tottenham will have to remain strong in the face of big money approaches to keep Kane, especially if he keeps producing the goods.

"It's not often you get a talent like Harry come through the ranks and score goals like he does", Noble was quoted as saying by beIN Sports.

"They have kept him too and if he keeps on playing like he is they are going to have to be strong to keep him."

Kane had seven efforts at goal during Spurs' win over the Hammers and he now has the best minutes per goal record in Premier League derbies of any player who has struck more than ten times in the games.

Tottenham have Kane under contract until the summer of 2022.
